So this is how I spent my summer vacation on my Thunderbird Storm...

Was a great trip, 7 days going south and 7 days back. Highlights included some sightseeing on the beaches in Normandy, Carcassonne, Monaco, crossing the pyrenees and the alps, the stelvio pass and lake Como.

Great food, great drinks, great roads. No trouble with the bird watching so ever.

They say it never happened if there are no pictures!
Just saying...

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Thanks, and yeah epic it was! One thing's for sure, I'll never forget it, best time I've spent on my bike.

Hehe, yeah chickened out a bit in Spain but took some nice day trips with my brother in law in the Basque Country (northern Spain) who lives there.

I drove about 500km per day, some days more sightseeing and some days more driving. It took me 7 days down (to San Sebasti??n) and 7 days home, and in between I spend a few weeks in the Basque Country.

I'd recommend doing a trip like this to anyone that likes to ride a motorcycle. It was simply fantastic to be able to do it and I even enjoyed the 2 degrees Celsius (soaking wet) at 2800m over the Stelvio pass. :-)
